A Hero Can Be Anyone

Life is so much better in movies. You swim across the gulf of torment, dashing hopes, shackles, ruptures and wrath. And yet always end up on the happy shores. Indian movies teach us that every life has a story, all it needs is a direction. No one is born a Hero, we become one. Get inspired. Don't just exist, live. Life's a movie in itself and there's an end to it, unlike Winrar's trial period. So spend Greenwich Time like a sandwich. Grasp the inner nature of things intuitively.
Romance like Shah Rukh, king size. Dance like Hrithik, just dance! Entertain like Akshay, fun all around. But at the same time, protest like Amitabh Bachchan, like an angry young man, when you see someone being exploited. Raise your voice against social evils like Aamir Khan, after all, height isn’t the only thing that matters. Fight like Salman, nothing held back. (Don't drive like him, though)
How about seeking inspiration from Chak De India? (It was my first movie at a cinema theatre.) No point narrating the story (This ain’t a movie review).  A man who served his nation with full veneration and allegiance but chucked out by his own people. Blackguarded, mocked, abandoned and sneered at! Now, why would you expect someone like him still yearning for serving his country, his people? To stand solitary for a cause, for a resolve. Giving all that it takes to win back his lost dignity but moreover, the pride of his nation.
Life will throw you down, present before you challenges and obstructions, hurt and sorrows. It’s you who gotta learn to emerge from the ashes as a Phoenix. To accept and confront things as they come and fight them like a true warrior. SRK in the movie did win the cup for India as well as his honour back. How about you earning what you wish for?
Are you determined to get your ass kicked but never kiss someone’s ass? Are you geared up to fight for a noble cause and not be a cause for any fight? Can you face the bull by the horns and not do bullshit?
Lagaan,  Swadesh, Iqbal, Halla Bol, Aarakshan, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, O My God (which inspires me the most), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and countless more.
Pick what you feel is good in these movies. And there is no doubt that if you follow what your heart says, imbibing true and moral values from these few out of many Bollywood movies, you will become what you were supposed to be in the first place, human being.
Basanti, in kutto ke samne mat nachna. (The adrenaline booster dialogue!)
You want your Basanti?! Here’s what you do. Don’t go by the book. Say what you say. Life's a studio of records you produce. Fill vodka inside a football and give it a shot. Burn extinguisher. Don't make your life a mute show, change volumes. Wo karo jo dil kahe! Write your heart loud, even if it’s cold. Let the world know how raw can the blood be! How strong can a pulse be! Ignite the magma in your veins and make yourself a volcano. Let the pen flow. Make a doodle. Scribble out what’s boiling in your head (be it chicken scratch). Do whatever you want, till it makes sense to you. Be it offensive if it’s true. Take the junk out of you (no one wants to die rusted). Tear down every fringe. Go even beyond the transcendence of ingenuity. Spin your head and you spin the world. Sab kuch karo, filmy ishtyle me! This article is dedicated to the enshrouded Hero within us and what it takes to bring it out. Be cool. Be awesome. Stay inspired.
